ROADS

Bursa Ring Road Project between Yalova Junction-Turankoy Interchange, that is 40,3 km in length of which 32 km is highway and 8,3 km is access roads, comprises the earth works, reinforced concrete structures, superstructure, traffic safety, landscaping works, miscellaneous and secondary works. A 2x500 mt double tube tunnel, 3 viaducts with double lane of 2x1905 mt in length, 15 bridges and 130 underpasses and culverts in various dimensions are in the scope of this road.

The project comprises the construction  the state highway with a total length of 24,5 km including sub-base, base and asphalt works and the construction of reinforced concrete structures, tunnels, bridges and viaducts. Within the scope of the project, Gülburnu Bridge has been constructed as a post-tensioned bridge using the free balanced cantilever method .Gülburnu Bridge is totally 330 meters long, having the middle span of 165 meters long and the edge spans of 2 x 82,5 meters long. Gülburnu Bridge is the longest single span reinforced concrete bridge with the middle span of 165 meters long.

The project comprise the construction of a 38,5 km long service road around the dam’s reservoir  together with 132 conduits, 6 small and 4 long span bridges.
