HISTORY OF GÜRİŞ

• The total installed power of 2 x 25 MW EFE 8 Geothermal Power Plant, our 8th geothermal power plant whose first unit we have commissioned as GÜRİŞ HOLDING, has increased to 235 MW in the field of geothermal energy. Efe 8 GPP will produce 400,000,000 kWh of energy annually and meet the annual electricity needs of 170,000 households. We continue our investments in domestic and renewable energy in order to reduce Turkey's dependence on foreign energy. 

• The acceptance of the two initial turbines of our 120.4 MW ULU WPP (27 4,2 MW E-138 EP3 and 2 3,5 MW E-138 EP3) which we have invested and constructed in İnegöl and Keles districts of Bursa is realized and began to generate electricity. WE ARE PROUD TO BE THE BIGGEST WIND POWER PLANT (WPP) INVESTOR IN TURKEY.

• All turbines of 100 MWm Kocatepe WPP started production after the realization of all its turbines 25 4 MW Enercon (E-126 EP3)

• After the commissioning of 100 MWm Kocatepe WPP, GÜRİŞ has became TURKEY'S BIGGEST WIND POWER PLANT INVESTOR with 10 wind power plants obtaining to 588.25 MW power.

• Official opening ceremony of our Ovid WPP, GÜRİŞ's first wind power plant in Ukraine, was held on September 21, 2019 with the participation of Turkishs Ambassador to Kyiv Mr.Yağmur Güldere, Odesa Regional State Vice President Shatalov Svetlana Nikolaevna, Ukraine Former Economic Development Deputy Minister Mihajlo Titarçu and Turkey Odesa Consul General Sadin Ayyıldız.

• The installation of the first turbine for our 100 MWm Kocatepe WPP, located in Sandıklı province in Afyon, was completed.

• The acceptance of 80 MW FATMA (Muğla) WPP which exists in the investment, construction and operation program of DERNE CLEAN ENERGY GENERATION CO. INC. of which GÜRİŞ is the 100% shareholder, is completed and the electricity generation has started. 80 MW FATMA WPP will generate approximately 211.500.000 kWh electricity annually.  

• The acceptance of 25.6 MW ZELİHA (Üsküp / Kırklareli) WPP which exists in the investment, construction and operation program of DERNE CLEAN ENERGY GENERATION CO. INC. of which GÜRİŞ is the100% shareholder, is completed and the electricity generation has started. 25.6 MW ZELİHA WPP will generate approximately 92.000.000 kWh electricity annually.
   
• GÜRİŞ has purchased 25.78 MW ÇERMİKLER HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT. Çermikler HEPP, located in Sivas city, has an installed capacity of 25.78 MW and is generating 80.651.000 kWh of electricity annually. In other words, Çermikler HEPP supply the needs of monthly electricity of 27.000 houses. With this new investment, the number of hydroelectric power plants that GÜRİŞ owns becomes six and the total installed capacity of hydroelectric power plant investments rises to 104.38 MW.
   
• GÜRİŞ has purchased 14.07 MW ESPİYE HEPP. Espiye HEPP, located in Giresun city, has an installed capacity of 14.07 MW and is generating 57.500.000 kWh of electricity annually. In other words, Espiye HEPP supply the needs of monthly electricity of 20.000 houses.
  
  

• Electricity generation started after the partial acceptance of 64 MW KANİJE WPP (Uzunköy/Edirne, Hayranbolu/Tekirdağ) under the investment, construction and operational programme of DERNE CLEAN ENERGY GENERATION CO. INC., of which GÜRİŞ is the sole shareholder.
• The acceptance of 47.4 MW EFE 1 of our EFELER GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT has been completed and has been commercially operating.
• The acceptance of 22.5 MW EFE 4 GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT, the fourth unit of the largest geothermal power plant in TURKEY with an installed capacity of 232.3 MW, has been realized and has began generating electricity.
• The acceptance of 22,5 MW EFE 3 GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT, the third unit of the largest geothermal power plant in TURKEY with an installed capacity of 232.3 MW, has been realized and has began generating electricity.
• The owner name of SARIKAVAK HEPP changed from CÖMERTOĞLU ENERGY INVESTMENTS CO. INC. to KAÇKAR ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC.
• 32.9 MW Arpa HEPP, located in Arpa Creek of Borçka, Artvin was purchased and the owner name was changed to POKUT ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC.. Arpa HEPP is licenced for 49 years.
• Arpa HEPP’s licence owner MCK ELECTRICITY GENERATION CO. INC. was purchased
• 12.3 MW TAHTA HEPP, located in Tahta Creek of Kadirli, between Osmaniye and Kahramanmaraş was purchased. The HEPP generates approximately 53.400.000 kwh annually and is licenced for 49 years. Company’s name was changed to TRIPOLI ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC after becoming the sole shareholder of TAHTA ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC. 
• GÜRİŞ has purchased 100% shares of TAHTA ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC.

• The provisional acceptance of 22.5 MW EFE 2, the second unit of Turkey's largest geothermal power plant with an installed capacity of 232.2 MW, has been realized and electricity generation started.

• 8.89 MW SARIKAVAK HEPP, located in Kurtsuyu Creek of Göksu was purchased and by which the total installed capacity reached 262 MW. The HEPP generates 42.000.000 kWh annually

• GİMAK ENERGY GENERATION CO. INC. was purchased, who owned GÜRİŞ's first HEPP, 8.2 MW Çeşmebaşı HEPP, generating approximately 56.160.000 kWh annually.

• IBERDROLA RENOVABLES ENERGIA S.A.U.’s affiliate IBERDROLA RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION, TRADE AND INDUSTRY CO. INC. was purchased. The company was then named DERNE CLEAN ENERGY GENERATION CO. INC. By this purchase, GÜRİŞ owns the licenses of:

                 48 MW Kanije WPP in Edirne
                 15 MW Zeliha WPP in Kırklareli
                  80 MW Fatma WPP in Muğla

• BURC GEOTHERMAL INVESTMENT ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC. 's investment EFE GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT, planned to be constructed at Ömerbeyli village of Germencik and İncirliova, Aydın was purchased. Electricity generation licence numbered EU/4165-16/2491, provided by EMRA on 13th of December, 2012 for its installed capacity of 162.5 MW was purchased by GÜRİŞ HOLDING GROUP COMPANIES: MOGAN ENERGY INVESTMENT HOLDING CO. INC., GÜRİŞ CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERİNG CO. INC. and GÜRENERJİ ELECTRIC GENERATION LIMITED CO.

• 55th anniversary of GÜRİŞ was celebrated.
• SANTRAL MINING CO. INC. was founded in 2012 for the purpose of exploring, extracting and processing underground sources. Through investments, technology and logistics ability the company aims to reach efficiency and sustainability in the acquisition of metal and industrial minerals.

• The owner of then 50 MW DİNAR WPP in Afyon Dinar, OLGU ENERGY INVESTMENT GENERATION AND TRADE CO. INC. was purchased by GÜRİŞ.

• Antakya Şenköy WPP’s licence was obtained from Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA)
• EOLOS WIND (renewable) ENERGY GENERATION CO. INC. was established to invest in Şenköy WPP in Antakya
• Yarubiye / Syria Clinker mill plant started commercial operations.

• GÜRİŞ’s GPP in Germencik, Aydın started electricity production for commercial purposes.
• Invested and installed by GÜRİŞ Group, operation of the Raqqa/Syria mill plant began.
• Belen WPP 30 MW (3 MWe x 10 Turbines) began producing electricity.

• The company capital was increased from 100.000.000.-TL to 390.000.000.-TL in an extraordinary meeting of GÜRİŞ CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING CO. INC.’s Shareholders held on 29th of August, 2008
• The construction of then 30 MW BELEN WPP in Belen, Hatay began. It’s annual electricity production was estimated to be 96.000.000 kWh.

• The 50th anniversary of GÜRİŞ was celebrated.
• A branch was opened in Tripoli / Libya and in the same year, its first contract was signed.

• GÜRİŞ RAQQA CEMENT CO. INC. was established in the city of Raqqa in Syria.
• A branch was opened Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• The Construction Contract of Jeddah City Center and Southern Region 2nd Stage Main And Ancillary Sewerage Networks was undertaken as a joint venture by GÜRİŞ, Al Mabani (Lebonan)and Dallah (Saudi Arabia)
• GÜRİŞ has initiated the construction of environment-friendly Geo-Thermal Power Plant / Aydın.

• GÜRİŞ DUBAI LLC CO. was established in Dubai and in the same year, its was signed.

• GÜRMAT ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION CO. INC. was founded.
• A newly constructed school, Yamantürk Multi-Program High School in Armutlu, İzmir was donated to the Public Education Ministry of Turkey. Armutlu - İZMİR.

• GÜRENERJİ ELECTRIC POWER PRODUCTION CO. INC. was founded.
• GÜRİŞ ROMANIA S.R.L was established in Bucharest, Romania, and its first contract in Romania was signed in the same year.

• BELEN ELECTRIC GENERATION CO. INC. was founded.
• The company capital was increased from 16.000-TL to 15.000.000.-TL in an extraordinary meeting of GÜRİŞ HOLDING CO.’s Shareholders held on 20th of December, 2002.

• ISO 9001 Certificate was issued.
• Construction of Ankara Metro 3rd Phase Batıkent – Sincan Line was commenced. / Ankara
• Yamantürk Primary School in Çayeli, Rize was donated to the Public Education Ministry of Turkey.

• ASİL STEEL INDUSTRY AND TRADE CO. INC. was purchased by GÜRİŞ YAZICI Group from the Turkish Privatization Administration.
• The construction of Natural Gas Renewal and Expansion Project began / Ankara
• The construction of Bursa Ring Road Yalova Exit – Turankoy Flyover function Section was undertaken as a joint venture by GÜRİŞ and GÖÇAY. / Bursa
• Donated to the Public Education Ministry of Turkey, Türkan Yamantürk Primary School began welcoming pupils. /ANKARA

• The Construction Contracts were signed for the 1st Phase of Bursa Light Rail (LRT) Project by a consortium of GÜRİŞ, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft, Simko and Tuvasas. /Bursa
• Donated to the Public Education Ministry of Turkey, Yamantürk High School began welcoming pupils. / Ankara
• The construction of Giresun-Espiye Motorway of Black Sea Highway was undertaken as a joint venture by GÜRİŞ and METİŞ.

• MIRAJ TOURISM AND TRADE CO. INC. was founded and construction of its l investment Mirage Park Resort Hotel commenced. / Antalya
• TOPRAK MARBLE INDUSTRY CO. INC. was founded by a joint venture of GÜRİŞ CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING CO., Nurol Holding Corporation, Milangaz LPG Distribution Corporation (Demiroren Group) Toprak Paper Industry Corp.
• OMTAŞ AUTOMOTIVE TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY INDUSTRY & TRADE CO. INC. became a part of GÜRİŞ.

• Contract for the realization of İzmit Urban and Industrial water supply project that was the biggest water supply project financed by the private sector as the first build – operate – transfer model application of Turkey was signed by Thames Water (England), Gama Industry, GÜRİŞ CONSTRUCTION, Mitsui & Co. Inc. (Japan) and Sumitomo Co. Inc. (Japan)
• Yamantürk High School which was donated to Turkish Public Education Ministry started education. / MALATYA

• Two of our constructions, National Reassurance in İstanbul and Park Place Business Center in Moscow were awarded at where they’re built for their architectural designs.
• The construction of the Flue gas desulphurisation Facility of (3x210 MW) Yatağan Thermal Power Plant was undertaken by a consortium of GÜRİŞ, Gottfried and Bischoff (Germany).

• The construction and erection works of 3rd and 6th Units of Çayırhan Thermal Power Plant was undertaken by a consortium of GÜRİŞ, AE & E (Austria), Bischoff (Germany), Siemens, Mitsubishi (Japan), Caillard - Lavache (France). .

• The construction contract of Ankara Metro 1st Stage Kızılay – Batıkent Line that was the first Metro Project of Turkey, was signed as and by the Ankara Metro Consortium (GÜRİŞ CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING CO. INC. + GAMA INDUSTRY PLANTS CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION CORP + SNC LAVALIN INC. and BOMBARDIER INC.)

• The construction of İnönü University Research and Application Hospital, was commenced by GÜRİŞ. / Malatya

• MERKEZ INSURANCE CO. INC. was founded.

• GÜRİŞ became a founding partner of MIR CONTRACTING AND TRADE CO. INC.
• The Moscow office in RUSSIA was opened.
